As a shy nerdy young man Shrirenu gets rejected when he proposes marriage to a girl. In later years too he fails to find a partner. Now in his early 40s he is a Sanskrit teacher and his family members arrange his marriage with Madhu a teacher.of French language. Despite their different approaches to life both get along fine at first, romance blooms but there are disagreements over petty issues and they break up. They love each other and later when their misunderstandings are getting cleared Madhu's earlier boyfriend makes an appearance. Will Shrirenu and Madhu get together again?
